New Meridian Taco John's to give away free food for a year

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) — Taco John's is celebrating the opening of a new location in Meridian Tuesday by giving away free food for a year.

The restaurant, located at 1410 W. McMillan Road, is giving away 150 "Golden Tickets" good for one small order of free "Potato Oles" each day for one year, only at that location.

The first 100 people to visit will get a ticket. The remaining 50 can win by joining Club TJ online or through the App Store and Google Play.

“We think offering 365 days of free Olés will be a fun way to get people in the door and encourage them to try the original flavors we offer,” said Billie Jo Waara, CMO of Taco John’s International. “We’re excited to become part of the Meridian community.“

The restaurant will open at 6 a.m., and is attached to the Stinker convenience store on the corner of Linder Road and McMillan.
